Are you looking for ways to spend less and still reach your goals?

Money Management for Today & Tomorrow

BowWest offers several workshops that help individuals and families learn how to get the most from each dollar. Community Advocates are also available for one-on-one support with specific financial issues including: debt reduction, savings, budgets and eligibility for financial support.

Free Tax Clinics

Volunteer tax preparers help you file your taxes electronically. A Community Advocate with BowWest will then help you learn how to access tax benefit programs. The Advocate will also work with you to make a plan for how you can use your tax refund to build financial sustainability.

Education Savings

A Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) can help you set aside money for your children’s future education. Ask one of our Community Advocates how to set up an RESP through the Canada Learning Bond. Each child you register with the program is eligible to receive up to $2,000 from the federal government. You do not need to contribute any money. (The federal government will match some of the “extra” money contributed by caregivers.)
